[Analysis of predictors of response to anti-IgE therapy in patients with severe atopic bronchial asthma in real clinical practice].

Introduction: Guidelines on Biological Therapy for Bronchial Asthma of the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (EAACI) identified a number of controversial issues for additional outcome analysis using randomized clinical trials and data from routine clinical practice. In particular, there is unmet need to clarify algorithms for prescribing biologicals using predictors of response and its timing, taking into account risk factors and multimorbidity. Omalizumab is a recombinant humanized monoclonal anti-IgE antibody of IgG1 class used for the treatment of severe refractory atopic bronchial asthma (BA) and a variety of IgE-mediated diseases.

[Is anti-helicobacter therapy a rational approach in treatment of erosive and ulcerous lesions of the gastroduodenal mucosa in patients with inflamatory bowel diseases?].

The study revealed changes in the oesophagogastroduodenal mucosa in 110 patients with IBD; in 60.9% of cases these changes were associated with Helicobacter pylori. 35 patients with IBD were examined to form two groups.

[Microcirculatory disorders in chronic erosions of the stomach].

Microcirculatory disturbances in chronic gastric erosions (CGE) were evaluated in 95 chronic gastric (CGE) patients using Doppler laser flowmetry to examine terminal blood flow of the gastric mucosa. Microcirculatory impairment in the fundal area was found in 93.7% patients with CGE, in the antral one in all the examinees.

[Calcium-phosphorus metabolism and bone metabolism in postmenopausal patients with the thyroid gland pathology].

Bone metabolism markers (bone alkaline phosphatase, ionized calcium, inorganic phosphorus, serum osteocalcin) and urinary excretion of hydroxyproline, Ca2+ and P after overnight fasting and of creatinine were studied in 52 female patients with endemic goiter and hypothyrosis (18 of these with decompensated hypothyrosis, 34 treated with thyroid hormones) and 48 women without thyroid diseases aged 45-60 years with menopause of no longer than 10 years (6.4 +/- 0.43 years).
