Background: Approximately 20% of global tuberculosis incidence is attributable to undernutrition, increasing to more than a third in India. Targeting nutritional interventions to tuberculosis-affected households is a policy priority, but understanding of epidemiological and economic impacts is limited. We aimed to estimate the population-level epidemiological and economic effect of such an intervention.

This study investigates whether differentially expressed miRNAs influence AR transcription, potentially contributing to the observed disparities between African American (AA) and European American (EA) QNBC patients.

Comparison of E-Cadherin Expression in Oral Verrucous Carcinoma and Normal Oral Mucosa: An Immunohistochemical Study.

Introduction Oral verrucous carcinoma (OVC), a low-grade variation of oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC), is distinguished by endophytic development and a pebbly, mammillated surface. OVC, often referred to as Ackerman's tumor, has been known to involve lymph nodes but rarely spreads to regional and distant locations; when the primary tumor grows, it frequently involves surrounding tissues. Histopathologically, it has a thicker basement membrane, many reduplications, and a large area of inflammatory infiltration that resembles OSCC.
