Investigating the Challenges and Opportunities of Domiciliary Oral Care for the Older Adults: A Scoping Review.

Background/objectives: Older adults need specialised dental care due to age-related changes and chronic conditions, but inadequate coordination and capacity hinder access to domiciliary oral care. This review explores the characteristics, barriers, facilitators, caregiver education, and outcomes of domiciliary oral care to improve services for frail older adults.

Methods: A systematic scoping search was conducted following the PRISMA guidelines.

Omics approaches to unravel insecticide resistance mechanism in (Gennadius) (Hemiptera: Aleyrodidae).

(Gennadius) whitefly (BtWf) is an invasive pest that has already spread worldwide and caused major crop losses. Numerous strategies have been implemented to control their infestation, including the use of insecticides. However, prolonged insecticide exposures have evolved BtWf to resist these chemicals.

First Evidence of Microplastic Ingestion by Riverine Fish From the Freshwater of Northwest Peninsular Malaysia.

In a baseline study, we investigated microplastic contamination in fish from the Pinang and Kerian Rivers in Northwest Peninsular Malaysia. In recognition of the growing concern over microplastic pollution in aquatic environments, we aimed to assess the abundance and characteristics of microplastics ingested by various fish species. Fish samples were collected from local fishermen, followed by a digestion process using 10% potassium hydroxide (KOH).

The dataset introduces an extensive questionnaire comprising five constructs and 25 items, rooted in the extended Technology Acceptance Model.

Exploring dietitians' views on digital nutrition educational tools in Malaysia: a qualitative study.

Background/objectives: Dietitians frequently use nutrition education tools to facilitate dietary counselling sessions. Nevertheless, these tools may require adaptation to keep pace with technological advancements. This study had a 2-fold purpose: first, to identify the types of nutrition education tools currently in use, identify their limitations, and explore dietitians' perspectives on the importance of these tools; second, to investigate the features that dietitians prefer in digital nutrition education tools.
