Herein, we present a strategy for the controlled assembly of single-walled carbon nanotube (SWCNT) linear junctions mediated by DNA as a functional linker. We demonstrate this by employing SWCNTs of two different chiralities via the specific design of DNA sequences and chiral selection. Streptavidin and AuNP labeling of the SWCNT sidewalls demonstrate the presence of two different chirality within each individual CNT-DNA-CNT junction.

This article introduces a novel approach to detecting honey adulteration by combining ultra-fast gas chromatography (UF-GC) with advanced machine learning techniques. Machine learning models, particularly support vector regression (SVR) and least absolute shrinkage and selection operator (LASSO), were applied to predict adulteration in orange blossom (OB) and sunflower (SF) honeys. The SVR model achieved R values above 0.

Fetal mediastinal teratomas are rare tumors that can lead to serious complications such as fetal hydrops and intrauterine fetal death. Early prenatal diagnosis is critical in patient counseling, management, and preparation for postnatal interventions. In this report, we present the case of a 27-year-old woman in the second trimester of a dichorionic diamniotic twin pregnancy, in which the presenting fetus was diagnosed with a mediastinal teratoma and subsequently developed fetal hydrops, leading to intrauterine death.

Article Synopsis
  • The study focuses on detecting multijet signatures from proton-proton collisions at a high energy of 13 TeV, analyzing a dataset totaling 128 fb^{-1}.
  • A special data scouting method is utilized to pick out events with low combined momentum in jets.
  • This research is pioneering in its investigation of electroweak particle production in R-parity violating supersymmetric models, particularly examining hadronically decaying mass-degenerate higgsinos, and it broadens the limits on the existence of R-parity violating top squarks and gluinos.

: Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM) is characterized by hyperglycemia, increased risk of cardiovascular diseases, and oxidative imbalances. This study aimed to investigate the impact of dietary supplementations with 'Arinto' grape pomace flour (GPF) (WGPF) and 'Touriga Nacional' GPF (RGPF) in an animal model of T2DM. : T2DM was induced by a high-fat diet (HFD) for 28 days and a single dose of streptozotocin (STZ) (35 mg/kg) on the 21st day.
