Successful multimodal management of central nervous system solitary fibrous tumor: A case report.

Solitary fibrous tumors (SFTs) are rare neoplasms that can occur in various locations, including the central nervous system (CNS). We present a case report of a 47-year-old male patient with an intracranial SFT who underwent subtotal resection followed by adjuvant radiotherapy. The patient initially presented with chronic left temporal headache and was diagnosed with an intra-axial double-component mass in the left temporoparietal lobe.

Poorly differentiated squamous cell carcinoma of unknown primary location a case report of perineal presentation.

Introduction: Cancers of unknown primary origin (CUP) pose a significant clinical challenge, representing a small percentage (1 to 5 %) of overall cancer cases. The patient is a 31-year-old male who has been diagnosed with poorly differentiated infiltrating squamous cell carcinoma, which has been classified as CUP. The exceptional perineal presentation and diagnostic process serve as a reminder of the diverse nature of CUPs and the crucial role played by advanced imaging methods and a multidisciplinary approach.

Evolution of pastoral livestock farming on arid rangelands in the last 15 years.

Livestock farming in arid rangelands constitutes a key component in the agricultural sector, particularly in developing countries. Farms have rapidly changed in recent decades, which has resulted in the modification of their structure, management and economic performance. Nowadays, livestock production in arid rangelands is threatened by climate change, coupled with the impact of complex interactions among social, economic and political factors.

[Angiocholitis on hepatic hydatid cyst fistulised in the main bile duct: two case reports].

Hydatid cyst is a zoonosis that frequently affects the liver, which is endemic in several countries such as Morocco. The hepatic hydatidosis can be complicated by angiocholitis, currently, the treatment of choice is endoscopic retrograde cholangio-pancreatography with sphincterotomy. We report two clinical cases of angiocholitis on hepatic hydatid cyst fistulised in the main bile duct which were treated endoscopically with a favourable outcome.

Acute pulmonary embolism mimicking COVID-19 pneumonia.

The case of 21-year-old man with an asthma history from childhood presenting severe respiratory distress associated with a right lower thoracic pain has been studied. The non-contrast Computed Tomography (CT)-chest scan showed a basal ground-glass opacity (GGO) of the right lung leading to suspicion of COVID-19 pneumonia. However, the molecular Reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction test and blood serology were negative while laboratory analyses revealed high levels of D-dimers (D-D).
