Background: Ecological momentary assessment (EMA) is an innovative tool for capturing in-the-moment health behaviors as people go about their daily lives. EMA is an ideal tool to measure weight-related behaviors, such as parental feeding practices, stress, and dietary intake, as these occur on a daily basis and vary across time and context. A recent systematic review recommended standardized reporting of EMA design for studies that address weight-related behaviors.

This study evaluated the feasibility and impact of a religiously tailored text message intervention delivered during Ramadan to encourage smoking reduction among Somali Muslim men who smoke.
Methods: Fifty Somali men were recruited.
Objective: To demonstrate the feasibility of applying the Healthy Eating Index-2010 (HEI-2010) to the hunger relief setting, specifically by assessing the nutritional quality of foods ordered by food shelves (front-line food provider) from food banks (warehouse of foods).
Design: This Healthy FOOD (Feedback On Ordering Decisions) observational study used electronic invoices detailing orders made by 269 food shelves in 2013 and analysed in 2015 from two large Minnesota, USA food banks to generate HEI-2010 scores. Initial development and processing procedures are described.
The investigations of new pyrazine and pyridine derivatives showing an antibacterial activity have been made. Upon treatment of 3-chloro-2-cyanopyrazine [1] and 2-chloro-3-cyanopyridine with 1,1-dimethyl-hydrazine, 1-aminopiperidine and 1-amino-4-methylpiperazine, either the pyrazolo-pyrazine (1), and -pyridine (2) derivatives, or ammonium salts (3-8) were obtained, according to the reaction conditions. Compound 1 was obtained in the reaction of the initial nitrile with methylhydrazine as well.
