The Holistic Effect of Complementary Interventions in Reducing Stress in College Students.

The purpose of this research was to examine the holistic effects of combined complementary therapies in reducing stress in college students. This convergent mixed-method study provided aromatherapy, massage, and meditation music sessions to college students ( = 50) just before finals week. Paired t-tests analyzed pre-session and post-session perceived stress and anxiety as well as objective physiological measures, including salivary cortisol, heart rate, and blood pressure.

Student Stories: Microaggressions in Communication Sciences and Disorders.

Purpose Microaggressions and how they affect underrepresented college students have been frequently documented. However, there is a lack of literature on the experiences of underrepresented communication sciences and disorders (CSD) students. The purpose of this study is to understand how underrepresented post baccalaureate, undergraduate, and graduate students in CSD experience microaggressions in their academic programs.

is an opportunistic pathogen that commonly colonizes human skin and mucous membranes. We report here the complete genome sequences of three phages, Quidividi, Terranova, and Twillingate, which are members of the Twort-like group of large myophages infecting Gram-positive hosts.

Psychosexual Aspects of Vulvar Disease.

Physically, the vulva is an anatomic location of convergence, which includes vascular, neural, hormonal, reproductive, dermatologic, and musculoskeletal systems. Psychosocially, the vulva represents privacy, femininity, sexuality, and intimacy. Because of this intertwined relationship, vulvar disease and dysfunction can significantly impact a woman's physical health as well as her relationships.

Motivation, altruism, and generalized compliance: a field study of organizational citizenship behaviors.

This study tests the relations among five sources of motivation and two organizational citizenship behaviors. 175 employees from 31 locations of two agriculturally based companies completed the Motivation Sources Inventory and were rated by their supervisors for demonstrated organizational citizenship behaviors. There were significant positive correlations for employees' Self-concept-Internal Motivation with Altruistic Behavior of employees; while employees' Self-concept-External Motivation showed a significant negative relation with Altruistic Behavior by employees.
