Rosai Dorfman disease is a benign lymphoproliferative disorder. Isolated extranodal involvement is rarely encountered. The causation has not been attributed to any particular factor and the clinical progress of the disease is varied.

Paradoxical reactions (PRs) are exaggerated inflammatory responses owing to recovery of cellular immunity following initiation of anti-tuberculous therapy (ATT). The presentation is worsening of pre-existing symptoms or development of new lesions. A 14-year-old girl with multi-drug-resistant tuberculosis developed a recurrent asymptomatic retropharyngeal abscess while on ATT.

We report a case of prolonged post-operative stridor in a full-term neonate who was operated for tracheoesophageal fistula. Initial evaluation including an endoscopy and contrast-enhanced computed tomography scan was normal. Repeat endoscopic evaluation under anesthesia revealed tight aryepiglottic folds.

Pyoderma gangrenosum (PG) is a neutrophilic dermatosis of unknown aetiology. We report a 27-year-old male patient with diabetes, who presented with a nonhealing ulcer on the left leg, pruritic hyperpigmented papules distributed over the trunk and limbs, and chronic diarrhoea. He had eosinophilia, low haemoglobin and serum IgE levels, and raised erythrocyte sedimentation rate.
