Introduction: Hotspots (HS) mutations in the PIK3CA gene may lead to poorer oncological outcomes and endocrine resistance in advanced breast cancer (BC), but their prognostic role in early-stage disease remains controversial. The overall agreement within plasma and tissue methods has not been well explored. Our aim was to correlate tissue and plasma approaches and to analyze the prognostic impact of PIK3CA mutations (PIK3CAm) in HR+/HER2- BC.

As with many chronic diseases, neuropathic pain has a profound economic and emotional impact worldwide and represents a major public health issue from a treatment standpoint. This condition involves multiple sensory symptoms including impaired transmission and perception of noxious stimuli, burning, shooting, spontaneous pain, mechanical or thermal allodynia and hyperalgesia.

Propolis extracts (PEs) were obtained using 70% ethanol (PEE) and methanol (PME). Yield and total phenol compounds were higher in PEE.

The aim of this work was to research the HO concentration of 24 Spanish honeys from different botanical origins, studying their possible correlation with glucose oxidase (GOx), catalase (CAT), and anti- activities (minimal inhibition concentration (MIC), minimal bactericidal concentration (MBC), and percentage of inhibition at 5% (/) honey against ), as well as possible correlations among all the analyzed parameters. The results showed that the HO concentration did not depend on the botanical origin of the honeys.

The upregulation of anti-apoptotic BCL2 proteins represents an unfavorable prognostic factor in many tumor types due to their ability to shift the equilibrium toward cancer cell survival. Furthermore, cancer-associated somatic mutations in BCL2 genes interfere with the protein interaction network, thereby promoting cell survival.
