Recurrent pregnancy loss (RPL), characterized by two or more failed clinical pregnancies, poses a significant challenge to reproductive health. In addition to embryo quality and endometrial function, proper oviduct function is also essential for successful pregnancy establishment. Therefore, structural abnormalities or inflammation resulting from infection in the oviduct may impede the transport of embryos to the endometrium, thereby increasing the risk of miscarriage.

Objective: To evaluate DE exposures in disproportionately impacted communities using biomonitoring and compare results for adults and children within and between families.
Methods: We recruited 40 families in the San Francisco East Bay area.
Objective: To create a tool that accurately predicts live birth chances after a positive pregnancy test after elective single embryo transfer (ET).
Design: Retrospective cohort.
Setting: CHUM hospital and Ovo clinic in Montreal, Canada.
Recent studies suggest that mitochondria can be transferred between cells to support the survival of metabolically compromised cells. However, whether intercellular mitochondria transfer occurs in white adipose tissue (WAT) or regulates metabolic homeostasis in vivo remains unknown. We found that macrophages acquire mitochondria from neighboring adipocytes in vivo and that this process defines a transcriptionally distinct macrophage subpopulation.

For the endometrium to become receptive, stromal cells must differentiate into decidual cells capable of secreting factors necessary for embryo survival and placental development. Although there are multiple reports of autophagy induction correlated with endometrial stromal cell (ESC) decidualization, the role of autophagy in decidualization has remained elusive.
