Objective: The objective of this review will be to synthesize the qualitative evidence on factors that influence direct breastfeeding of preterm infants in neonatal wards and the provision of breastfeeding support.

Introduction: Breastmilk is critical for the health of preterm neonates, and infants who directly feed at the breast are more likely to receive breastmilk exclusively for longer periods. Direct breastfeeding is associated with improved maternal coping and development of maternal identity.

Aim: The aim of this study was to examine Newly Qualified General Nurses' (NQGNs') experiences of and the value of the internship period.

Background: Internship was introduced as the final part of the undergraduate nursing degree in Ireland in 2002. The aim was to provide students with clinical experience, whereby they work more independently and in doing so, seamlessly progress their transition to the role of registered nurse.

Pilot Trial of Perampanel on Peritumoral Hyperexcitability in Newly Diagnosed High-grade Glioma.

Purpose: Glutamatergic neuron-glioma synaptogenesis and peritumoral hyperexcitability promote glioma growth in a positive feedback loop. The objective of this study was to evaluate the feasibility and estimated effect sizes of the targeted AMPA receptor antagonist perampanel on peritumoral hyperexcitability.

Experimental Design: An open-label trial was performed comparing perampanel with standard of care (SOC) in patients undergoing resection of newly diagnosed radiologic high-grade glioma.
