Investigating health services for sexual and gender minorities in France: a qualitative study protocol.

Introduction: Discrimination and structural violence experienced by sexual and gender minorities are the source of social inequalities in health. The last decade has been marked by major developments in the provision of sexual health services for these minorities in France. This paper presents the research protocol of the Services for Minorities-Lesbian Gays Bisexuals Transgender Intersex+ (SeSAM-LGBTI+) study, which aims to document the health, social and professional challenges in the organisation of current health services for sexual and gender minorities in France.

Issues of mindfulness implementation for oncology caregivers.

Objectives: Burn out is high in oncology. We aim to evaluate the feasibility and identify the barriers for mindfulness implementation in oncology professionals.

Methods: We conducted a pilot study in which voluntary oncology caregivers entered mindfulness workshops, and complete online questionnaires.

Pharmacological Blockade of Glycoprotein VI Promotes Thrombus Disaggregation in the Absence of Thrombin.

Objective: Atherothrombosis occurs upon rupture of an atherosclerotic plaque and leads to the formation of a mural thrombus. Computational fluid dynamics and numerical models indicated that the mechanical stress applied to a thrombus increases dramatically as a thrombus grows, and that strong inter-platelet interactions are essential to maintain its stability. We investigated whether GPVI (glycoprotein VI)-mediated platelet activation helps to maintain thrombus stability by using real-time video-microscopy.

Physicians advice, parental practice and adherence to doctor's advice: an original survey on infant feeding.

Background: Despite several years of guidance on infant feeding, there has been only a slight change in consumer compliance. Therefore, this study aimed to analyse parents feeding practices, explore physicians' advice about infant feeding and subsequent parent's adherence to advice.

Methods: A multicentric cross-sectional qualitative and descriptive self-report online study was conducted in volunteers to participate in the study.
