Objective: To optimise the organisation of care and encourage the adoption of good clinical practices, the RarERN Path methodology was designed within ERN ReCONNET. The aim of our work was to report the application of RarERN Path on systemic sclerosis within the ERN ReCONNET centres, providing a feasible and flexible organisational reference model for optimising the systemic sclerosis care pathway in different countries.
Methods: RarERN Path is a six-phase methodology which enables the creation of a reference organisational model co-designed on the basis of the expertise of different stakeholders.
Background: The temporomandibular joint (TMJ) scale assesses the severity of temporomandibular joint disorders (TMD), yet a European Portuguese translation is lacking.
Objectives: To translate, cross-culturally adapt and to examine the psychometric properties (construct validity and reliability) of the TMJ scale.
Methods: Translation and cultural adaptation were carried out according to international recommendations, including initial translation, evaluation of this translation and cultural adaptation by a panel of experts, and back translation.
Functionally Graded Materials (FGMs) can outperform their homogeneous counterparts. Advances in digitalization technologies, mainly additive manufacturing, have enabled the synthesis of materials with tailored properties and functionalities. Joining dissimilar metals to attain compositional grading is a relatively unexplored research area and holds great promise for engineering applications.

The LABEXTRACT plant extract bank, featuring diverse members of the Myrtaceae family from Brazilian hot spot regions, provides a promising avenue for bioprospection. Given the pivotal roles of the Spike protein and 3CL and PL proteases in SARS-CoV-2 infection, this study delves into the correlations between the Myrtaceae species from the Atlantic Forest and these targets, as well as an antiviral activity through both and analyses. The results uncovered notable inhibitory effects, with and standing out, while proved to be multitarget, presenting inhibition values above 72% in the three targets analyzed.
