Defining the CSF cytokine/chemokine and injury biomarker signature of glial fibrillary acidic protein (GFAP) autoimmunity can inform immunopathogenesis. CSF GFAP-IgG-positive samples (N = 98) were tested for 17 cytokines/chemokines, neurofilament light chain (NfL), and GFAP (ELLA, Bio-Techne). Controls included non-inflammatory (N = 42), AQP4-IgG-positive (N = 83), CNS infections (N = 13), and neurosarcoidosis (N = 32).

However, mice lacking its putative target, protein kinase PKMζ, exhibit normal learning and memory as well as LTP, making the mechanism of ZIP unclear. Here we show that ZIP disrupts LTP by removing surface AMPA receptors through its cationic charge alone.

The patient presented with 6 weeks of progressive neuropathic pain followed by sensory changes and distal-predominant weakness. This case reviews the broad differential for such a presentation and a comprehensive, stepwise approach to diagnosis.

As part of the Breast milk, Environment, Early-life, and Development (BEED) study, primiparous individuals were recruited from within 20 km of English MWIs between 2013 and 2015 and asked to provide human milk samples. The samples were analysed for quantitative concentrations of 17 PCDD/F and 12 PCB congeners.

This in vitro study aimed to isolate and evaluate both the individual and combined roles of M1 macrophages and osteoblasts in macrophage differentiation and osteoblast function, specifically focusing on how these interactions influence protein expression of osteogenesis and osteoclastogenesis in the presence or absence of Tx.
Methods: Osteoblast and macrophage cells were co-cultured in direct contact for 24 and 48 h, with or without the presence of Tx.
