Objectives: Congenital adrenal hyperplasia (CAH) is an uncommon genetic disorder which affects cortisol production in the adrenal glands. It is usually treated with glucocorticoids. We present a case of non-classical CAH caused by the partial deficiency of 11 beta-hydroxylase (11βOH) which was treated with aldosterone antagonist (eplerenone) monotherapy.

Background: Lipid disorders are now considered causal for atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (ASCVD) which remains one of the most important contributors to morbidity and mortality in the developed world. Identification and early treatment of lipid disarrays remains the cornerstone of good clinical practice to prevent, halt and even reverse ASCVD. Aim: Report the outcomes of pregnant women with type 1 and type 2 diabetes and to identify modifiable and non-modifiable factors associated with poor outcomes.

Methods: Retrospective analysis of pregnancy preparedness, pregnancy care and outcomes in the Republic of Ireland from 2015 to 2020 and subsequent multivariate analysis.

Results: In total 1104 pregnancies were included.
