This review explores the applications of Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) in smart agriculture, highlighting recent advancements across various applications including weed detection, disease detection, crop classification, water management, and yield prediction. Based on a comprehensive analysis of more than 115 recent studies, coupled with a bibliometric study of the broader literature, this paper contextualizes the use of CNNs within Agriculture 5.0, where technological integration optimizes agricultural efficiency.

X-ray diffraction patterns of NaYSiO:xEu (x = 0, 1, 5, 7, 10 mol% Eu) samples proved a single-phase hexagonal structure ( (176) space group). Differential thermal analysis showed an exothermic peak at 995 °C attributed to the amorphous to crystalline transformation of NaYSiO.

First of all, we emphasize the subtle difference between the notions of difficulty and complexity. Then, in this article, we focus on the question of how two widely used color image complexity measures correlate with the number of segments resulting in over-segmentation.

Most of the existing diffusion models are defined for gray-scale images. We propose a diffusion model for color images to be used as external energy for active contours. Our diffusion model is based on the first-order moment of the correlation integral expressed using ΔE distances in the CIE Lab color space.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFFractal dimension is a very useful metric for the analysis of the images with self-similar content, such as textures. For its computation there exist several approaches, the probabilistic algorithm being accepted as the most elegant approach. However, all the existing methods are defined for 1-D signals or binary images, with extension to grayscale images.
