: The World Health Organization (WHO) estimates that one in three women worldwide has experienced physical or sexual violence. In countries like the US, UK, and Canada, victims are often cared for by sexual assault nurse examiners (SANEs), who are trained to conduct forensic exams and offer emotional support, reducing the risk of retraumatisation. Thus, the aim of this study was to describe the satisfaction of patients and healthcare professionals with SANEs' services.

The products are characterized using powder x-ray diffraction, N sorption isotherms, electronic microscopy, and in silico calculations, among other techniques.

Impact of SARS-CoV-2 infection on the cognitive functioning of patients institutionalized in nursing homes.

Background: COVID-19 disease affected the cognitive level of institutionalized patients in nursing homes, especially in the older subjects regardless of gender. This study aims to assess cognitive impairment using the Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE) before and after COVID-19 infection, and to determine whether these changes varied based on gender.

Methods: A pre- and post-COVID-19 study was conducted, involving 68 geriatric patients (34 men and 34 women) from two nursing homes.

Cross-cultural evaluation of the Michigan Hand Outcomes Questionnaire: a systematic review.

This systematic review aims to provide a comprehensive synthesis and in-depth analysis of the quality of the different cross-cultural versions of the MHQ. This study was conducted using Pubmed, Web of Science, CINAHL and SCOPUS databases to identify cross-cultural validation studies of the MHQ. Methodological quality, quality of evidence and criteria for good measurement properties of these studies were applied for each psychometric property.
