The workforce is not prepared to meet the needs of the number of older adults (OAs) across the globe. The study examines the Theory of Planned Behavior via the Working with Older Adults Scale (WOAS) in a group of university-aged international students to better understand global perceptions of working with older adults. Objective: In patients with AD, we evaluated the effect of eosinophil depletion with benralizumab on markers of inflammation in skin after intradermal allergen challenge.
Methods: A total of 20 patients with moderate-to-severe AD completed a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled parallel-group study comparing 3 doses of benralizumab (30 mg each) administered subcutaneously every 4 weeks (n = 9) with placebo (n = 11).
Purpose: Nocturnal asthma is a sign of asthma worsening and could be partially due to more fluid drawn into the thorax during sleep by gravitational force and/or pharyngeal collapse in those with obstructive sleep apnea. Wearing compression stockings during the day reduces fluid shift from the legs to the neck overnight. However, the potential effect of wearing compression stockings to reduce fluid accumulation in the leg and to improve nocturnal small airway narrowing in patients with asthma has not been investigated.

The potential benefits of DBS specimens compared with traditional phlebotomy include a reduction in required total blood volume, reduced procedural pain, and an ability for self-initiated collection. DBS cards for A1C measurement have been validated in the adult population, but there is a paucity of pediatric data.

The MHC Vaccination Program was implemented through a large integrated healthcare system in North Carolina using a grassroots development and engagement strategy along with a robust model for data-informed decision support to prioritize vulnerable communities. Several valuable lessons from this work can replicated for future outreach initiatives and community-based programming: •Health systems can no longer operate under the assumption that community members will come to them, particularly those experiencing compounding social and economic challenges.
