Background: Digital health technologies are increasingly being integrated into mental health care. However, the adoption of these technologies can be influenced by patients' digital literacy and attitudes, which may vary based on sociodemographic factors. This variability necessitates a better understanding of patient digital literacy and attitudes to prevent a digital divide, which can worsen existing health care disparities.

Despite its efficacy, sotalol's use is limited by its potential to cause life-threatening ventricular arrhythmias due to QT interval prolongation. Traditionally, sotalol administration required hospitalization to monitor these risks.

A Schottky junction-based metal-semiconductor contact configuration is employed to achieve hot-carrier reflections on the metal side, enhancing the quantum efficiency of the photodetector.

Efficacy of vitamin D supplementation on the incidence of preeclampsia: a systematic review and meta-analysis.

Background: Preeclampsia is a severe pregnancy complication affecting 2-8% of pregnancies globally, contributing to substantial maternal and fetal morbidity and mortality. Vitamin D deficiency has been associated with an increased risk of preeclampsia, yet the efficacy of its supplementation during pregnancy in reducing preeclampsia incidence remains uncertain.

Objectives: This systematic review and meta-analysis aimed to evaluate the impact of vitamin D supplementation on the incidence of preeclampsia and related maternal and neonatal outcomes.

The Rising Challenge of Stroke in Iraq and the Importance of Endovascular Centers.

Stroke is a critical public health issue in Iraq, where the rising incidence is met with insufficient specialized care, often leading to severe disability or mortality. This editorial highlights the urgent need for establishing endovascular centers across the country to address these gaps. Endovascular interventions, such as mechanical thrombectomy, have proven effective in reducing stroke-related mortality and long-term disability when administered within a narrow treatment window.
