Perivascular Hyaluronidase With Alteplase as Treatment for Hyaluronic Acid Thrombosis.

Background: Hyaluronic acid fillers are the second-most commonly performed nonsurgical procedure. Arterial thrombosis is their most devastating complication. Recent research shows that along hyaluronic acid thrombi, a platelet/fibrin thrombus forms in the site of injection.

Sarcoidosis of the lacrimal gland as a first manifestation.

Objective/method: The first manifestation of sarcoidosis is usually at the pulmonary level. The case is described of a 40-year-old female patient, who presented with an increased volume of the lacrimal gland and mechanical ptosis of upper left eyelid as the first expression of this disease.

Result/conclusion: The diagnosis of systemic sarcoidosis with primary presentation of the lacrimal gland was made after performing several immunological studies with negative results, imaging studies, and taking of glandular and lymph node biopsies.

Gastric wall perforation secondary to presumed aspergillosis in a pediatric patient with aplastic anemia: A case report.

Aspergillosis is an opportunistic fungal infection that may develop in immunocompromised patients with conditions such as leukemia or aplastic anemia. A rare case of stomach perforation following acute fungal gastritis in a 13-year-old female patient with aplastic anemia is reported herein. The patient had developed aplastic anemia without bone marrow fibrosis secondary to acute lymphoblastic leukemia and chemotherapy.

[Multicentric inflammatory pseudotumor with asynchronic presentation in meninges, liver, spleen and lymph nodes in a patient with seronegative spondiloarthropathy. Case report and review of the literature].

Introduction: Inflammatory pseudotumor is a reactive process in which the etiology and pathogenesis are not well defined, that can be found in any location. The cases with central nervous system affection have been described in meninges, brain, choroid plexus and cranial and spinal nerves. Multicentric cases, synchronous and asynchronous have been described.
