The aim of the study was gaining insights into the peculiarities of the general adaptive reactions (GARs) dynamics during the treatment of duodenal peptic ulcer disease (DPUD) in servicemen of regular army as well as to compare the GARs spectra in the groups of patients depending on the following: disease severity, efficacy of Helicobacter pylori-eradicative therapy and rate of ulcer healing. It was also the purpose of the study to elucidate both the GARs prognostic value in the duration of the disease and the expediency of their correction in the complex treatment of this category of patients. Examined in the study were 70 servicemen.
