Background: Isoproterenol (ISO) is a nonselective beta-adrenergic receptor agonist known for its vasodilatory effects. This experiment aims to investigate whether intrauterine ISO administration could alter vascular indices and follicular development in postpartum Holstein cows.

Objectives: The objectives are to evaluate the effects of intrauterine ISO administration on vascular changes and its impact on follicular development compared to placebo groups.

Development of a Prognostic Nomogram for Overall Survival in Gastric Cancer Patients Who Underwent Adjuvant Chemoradiotherapy.

Purpose: The aim of this study was to identify prognostic factors influencing overall survival (OS) in patients with gastric cancer treated with adjuvant chemoradiotherapy (CRT) and to develop a predictive model.

Methods: We retrospectively evaluated 245 non-metastatic gastric cancer patients who received adjuvant CRT or radiotherapy from 2010 to 2020. Survival analyses were performed using the Kaplan-Meier method.

Protective Effect of Escin Against Kidney Injury: Histopathological and Biochemical Evaluations.

The purpose of the current study was to find out whether escin (ES) safeguarded experimental rats against cyclophosphamide (CP)-induced kidney injury. Twenty-four rats were randomly divided into four groups ( = 6). After the examination, histological and biochemical analyses were performed to assess the alterations in kidney tissue.

Seed Oil Contents, Fatty Acid Compositions, and Gossypol Concentrations of Some Okra Landraces.

Okra has recently attracted attention owing to its superior tolerance to high temperatures, greater adaptation to poor soil conditions, and having a robust plant structure. The plant contains a high amount of oil and valuable fatty acids; however, the main restriction of using okra seeds as an oil crop results from its gossypol contents. The aim of this study was to determine the oil content of okra landraces and to evaluate its potential as an oil crop.
