Distinct Patterns of Antibiotic Sensitivities in Ammonia-Oxidising Archaea.

Ammonia-oxidising archaea (AOA) are important microorganisms contributing towards the nitrogen flux in the environment. Unlike archaea from other major phyla, genetic tools are yet to be developed for the AOA, and identification of antibiotic resistance markers for selecting mutants is required for a genetic system. The aim of this study was to test the effects of selected antibiotics (hygromycin B, neomycin, apramycin, puromycin, novobiocin) on pure cultures of three well studied AOA strains, 'Candidatus Nitrosocosmicus franklandianus C13', Nitrososphaera viennensis EN76 and Nitrosopumilus maritimus SCM1.

Purpose: This study aims to identify and summarize evidence on the effectiveness of exercise-based interventions on muscle mass, muscle strength, functional performance, aerobic capacity, health-related quality of life (HRQoL), feasibility of the interventions, in patients with malignant lymphoma undergoing chemotherapy.

Methods: A systematic search was conducted in six electronic databases and trials registers on November 15, 2023. Peer-reviewed randomized controlled trials (RCTs) comparing exercise intervention with controls/usual care in adults (≥18 years) diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma and non-Hodgkin's lymphoma undergoing chemotherapy were considered for inclusion.
