Background: The aim of this study was to develop and psychometrically evaluate a parent-rated parenting assessment scale including positive and negative dimensions of parenting. Factorial validity, reliability, measurement invariance, latent mean differences and construct validity of the Assessment Scale of Positive and Negative Parenting Behavior (FPNE) were tested in a pooled sample of five studies of 1,879 school-aged children (6.00 to 12.

In such high-risk patients, conventional percutaneous dilatational tracheostomy (PDT) may lead to severe complications.
Methods: Aiming to broaden the scope of MIT for patients previously excluded due to high risks, we developed a new care bundle (MIT technique), specifically designed for intensive care specialists.

Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) triggers chronic intestinal inflammation and is linked to primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC). Cholesterol homeostasis, tightly regulated under normal conditions, becomes disrupted in both inflammation and chronic liver disease. We analyzed fecal and serum levels of cholesterol synthesis precursors, oxysterols, and phytosterols in 87 patients with IBD (81 for serum analysis) including patients with Crohn's disease (CD) and ulcerative colitis (UC), 11 patients with PSC, 21 patients with PSC-IBD (18 for serum analysis), and 16 healthy controls (17 for serum analysis).

In a randomized, placebo-controlled trial in children and another in adolescents, vortioxetine and placebo groups showed improvement in MDD symptoms without statistically significant differences between groups. To gain insights on long-term safety and tolerability of vortioxetine in pediatric patients, participants from these two studies were enrolled in two long-term extension studies: 6 months (NCT02871297) followed by another 18 months (NCT03108625).

Vatinoxan minimizes adverse cardiopulmonary effects associated with medetomidine administration while preserving sedation and analgesia. In this study, we evaluated the clinical safety and efficacy of 3 dosage combinations of Zenalpha with ketamine and buprenorphine extended release (ER) as compared with xylazine with ketamine and buprenorphine-ER for anesthesia of C57BL/6J mice.
