To mitigate barriers to care among youth (12-25 years), community-based organizations have increasingly integrated peer support as a complement to clinical mental health care; however, information regarding the integration process is lacking. To explore organizational perspectives regarding the contexts and mechanisms underlying integration of peer support for youth accessing mental health services from community-based, youth-serving organizations. Representatives from community-based youth-serving organizations completed a survey describing the contexts in which they are located and their experiences integrating peer support.

Lipidomics is a well-established field, enabled by modern liquid chromatography mass spectrometry (LC-MS) technology, rapidly generating large amounts of data. Lipid extracts derived from biological samples are complex, and most spectral features in LC-MS lipidomics data sets remain unidentified. In-depth analyses of commercial triacylglycerol, diacylglycerol, and cholesterol ester standards revealed the expected ammoniated and sodiated ions as well as five additional unidentified higher mass peaks with relatively high intensities.

Introduction: The diagnostic yield of genetic analysis in the evaluation of children with short stature depends on associated clinical characteristics, but the additional effect of parental consanguinity has not been well documented.

Methods: This observational case series of 42 short children from 34 consanguineous families was collected by six referral centres of paediatric endocrinology (inclusion criteria: short stature and parental consanguinity). In 18 patients (12 families, group 1), the clinical features suggested a specific genetic defect in the growth hormone (GH) insulin-like growth factor I (IGF-I) axis, and a candidate gene approach was used.
