Background: We used a social network approach to identify influential community organizations within integrated public health networks in three regions in Texas, US: Houston/Harris County, Cameron County, and Northeast Texas. The study aimed to understand how network structures influence organizational performance in COVID-19 response.

Methods: In collaboration with community partners in each region, we administered a snowball sampling network data collection.

Background: The integration of body-worn sensors with mobile devices presents a tremendous opportunity to improve just-in-time behavioral interventions by enhancing bidirectional communication between investigators and their participants. This approach can be used to deliver supportive feedback at critical moments to optimize the attainment of health behavior goals.

Objective: The goals of this systematic review were to summarize data on the content characteristics of feedback messaging used in diet and physical activity (PA) interventions and to develop a practical framework for designing just-in-time feedback for behavioral interventions.

High-throughput and deep DNA sequencing, particularly amplicon sequencing, is being increasingly utilized to reveal spatial and temporal dynamics of bacterial communities in drinking water systems. Whilst the sampling and methodological biases associated with PCR and sequencing have been studied in other environments, they have not been quantified for drinking water. These biases are likely to have the greatest effect on the ability to characterize subtle spatio-temporal patterns influenced by process/environmental conditions.

Background: In clinical practice, α₂-adrenoceptor agonists have been adjunctively administered with psychostimulants for the treatment of attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Two studies have examined the adjunctive use of guanfacine extended release (GXR, Intuniv®; Shire Development LLC, Wayne, PA, USA) with psychostimulants in children and adolescents with a suboptimal response to psychostimulant treatment. However, the potential for pharmacokinetic drug-drug interactions (DDIs) between GXR and lisdexamfetamine dimesylate (LDX, Vyvanse®; Shire US LLC, Wayne, PA, USA) has not been thoroughly evaluated.

Background: α2-Adrenoceptor agonists are used adjunctively to psychostimulants in treating attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) when psychostimulants alone do not sufficiently reduce symptoms. However, data on the pharmacokinetic profiles and safety of combination treatments in ADHD are needed.

Objective: The primary objective of this study was to evaluate the pharmacokinetic profiles of guanfacine extended release (GXR) and methylphenidate hydrochloride (MPH) extended release, alone and in combination.
