Introduction: Invasive pulmonary aspergillosis (IPA) increases the risk of mortality of critically ill patients. Diagnostic criteria specifically targeting patients in intensive care units(ICUs) have been developed to improve diagnostic sensitivity. This study investigated health outcomes among patients in ICUs with Aspergillus isolates identified using bronchoscopy.

Methods: We had retrospectively collected patients with asthma AEs between 2019 and 2020 and retrieved data from the Chang Gung Research Database, including clinical manifestations, medications, pulmonary function, clinic and emergency department visits and hospitalizations.
Results: A total of 39,108 adult patients with asthma were enrolled, of whom 1502 were eligible for analysis.
Non-myeloablative hematopoietic cell transplantation (HCT) is a curative option for individuals with sickle cell disease (SCD). Our traditional goal with this approach has been to achieve a state of mixed donor/recipient chimerism. Recently, we reported an increased risk of hematologic malignancies (HMs) in adults with SCD following graft failure or mixed chimerism.

Methods: We developed an optimization model using data from a citywide stroke registry (July 1, 2019 to December 31, 2020).
Background: In-hospital cardiac arrest (IHCA) poses a considerable threat to hospitalized patients, leading to high mortality rates and severe neurological deficits among survivors. Despite the advancements in resuscitation practices, the prognosis of IHCA remains poor, and comprehensive studies exploring nationwide trends and long-term survival are scarce, particularly in the Asian populations.
Methods: Utilizing data from the Taiwan National Health Insurance Research Database, we conducted a nationwide cohort study to analyze the IHCA events among adult patients between 2003 and 2020.
