A Model Data Management Plan Standard Operating Procedure: Results From the DIA Clinical Data Management Community, Committee on Clinical Data Management Plan.

Background: The DIA Clinical Data Management Community created a committee to develop a model standard operating procedure (SOP) for writing a data management plan.

Methods: The goal of the committee was to develop a plan that could be used by industry and academic institutions. The model was based on contributed examples from committee members and their experiences with current practices and technologies.

Glenohumeral joint ganglion cyst and other rare cysts of the axilla.

Although ganglion cysts have been reported to arise from almost any joint, those arising from the glenohumeral joint producing an axillary mass are extremely rare. We report what we believe to be the eighth such case and describe its management. The unusual differential diagnosis and aids to diagnosis of axillary cysts are reviewed.

Intraosseous metacarpal involvement of giant cell tumor of the tendon sheath: report of 2 cases.

Intraosseous phalangeal growth of giant cell tumor of the tendon sheath (GCTTS) is an uncommon manifestation of this tumor, but it is well known because of its potentially aggressive local growth. This article details the findings of 2 cases of previously unreported intraosseous metacarpal involvement of GCTTS. Differential diagnosis of a metacarpal lesion with decreased radiodensity on radiographs should include GCTTS.
