Objectives: To assess the prevalence of major obstetric haemorrhage managed with peripartum hysterectomy and/or interventional radiology (IR) in Belgium. Hepatitis E virus of genotype 3 (HEV-3) is an emerging cause of sporadic autochthonous acute hepatitis in Europe.
