[Using metaphor and art to talk about death with occupational therapy students].

Addressing the topic of death is essential to empower healthcare professionals to work with people, but there is a lack of training in this area. This study presents the perceptions of students and educators regarding the use of metaphor and artistic creation to explore values, prejudices, emotions, and experiential knowledge related to death. The pedagogical innovation allowed students to reflect on and express their perceptions of death, while also experiencing a listening posture, thereby contributing to the development of communication skills, among others.

Updated Canadian Headache Society Migraine Prevention Guideline with Systematic Review and Meta-analysis.

Objective: We have updated the migraine prevention guideline of the Canadian Headache Society from 2012, as there are new therapies available, and additionally, we have provided guidelines for the prevention of chronic migraine, which was not addressed in the previous iteration.

Methods: We undertook a systematic review to identify new studies since the last guideline. For studies identified, we performed data extraction and subsequent meta-analyses where possible.

Estimates and determinants of HPV non-vaccination in 14-year-old Canadians: Results from the childhood national immunization coverage survey, 2019.

Human papillomavirus (HPV) infections, the most common sexually transmitted infections, are associated with various health outcomes including anogenital warts and cancers. Despite significant investments in HPV vaccination programs, ensuring adequate vaccination coverage for adolescents remains a challenge in Canada. This analysis used data collected through the 2019 Childhood National Immunization Coverage Survey (CNICS) to determine national estimates of HPV non-vaccination and investigate determinants of HPV non-vaccination for adolescents aged 14-years old in Canada, both overall and stratified by gender.

Utility of 3D modelling of the patient's living environment as perceived by occupational therapists.

Introduction: Visiting a patient's living environment is important for occupational therapists, albeit costly and time consuming. MapIt is a mobile app producing a 3D representation of a home with the possibility of taking measurements. The purpose of this study was to explore the utility of a 3D representation of a patient's home for the clinical practice of occupational therapists.

Determinants of non-vaccination against seasonal influenza during pregnancy.

Objective: The objective of this study was to identify the determinants of influenza non-vaccination during pregnancy in Canada.

Methods: Biological mothers of children born between December 2018 and March 2019 were surveyed about vaccinations they had received during pregnancy, reasons for non-vaccination, obstetrical history, and demographics. Simple and multiple logistic regression models were used to measure associations between various sociodemographic factors as well as obstetrical history, and non-vaccination against influenza.
