Comprehensive genomic characterization of early-stage bladder cancer.

Understanding the molecular landscape of nonmuscle-invasive bladder cancer (NMIBC) is essential to improve risk assessment and treatment regimens. We performed a comprehensive genomic analysis of patients with NMIBC using whole-exome sequencing (n = 438), shallow whole-genome sequencing (n = 362) and total RNA sequencing (n = 414). A large genomic variation within NMIBC was observed and correlated with different molecular subtypes.

Real-life dosing conditions in older adults and geriatric patients in Poland - An international questionnaire study to investigate the regional differences in drug intake behaviour in the older population.

Older people represent approximately 20% of the Polish population and are the primary population using medications. Behaviours connected with drug intake (such as dosage form modifications, type and amount of fluid and/or food accompanying administration) are crucial for drug efficacy and avoidance of adverse effects. The presented study had three research aims; firstly, to investigate the real-life drug administration process among older adults and geriatric patients in Poland.

With advancements in breast cancer treatment, survivorship has increased, leading to 3.8 million survivors in the US. These women have diverse supportive care needs, often addressed through Survivorship Programs (SPs), which provide clinical and non-clinical support services.

Acoustic Speech Analysis in Alzheimer's Disease: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis.

Background: The potential of biomarkers in the detection of Alzheimer's disease (AD) is prominent. Acoustics may be useful in this context but the evaluation and weighting for specific acoustic parameters on continuous speech is missing. This meta-analysis aimed to explore the significance of acoustic parameters from acoustic speech analysis on continuous speech, as a diagnostic tool for clinical AD.
