In the present study, endophytic fungus, isolated from was used to analyze phytochemical studies by qualitative and GC-MS methods. The endophytic fungus yielded novel compound penisimplicissin identified through GC-MS studies. Further, was conjugated with C60 fullerene nanoparticles (Ps-FNPs) were verified using UV-vis spectra, XRD, FTIR, DLS, EDX and SEM.

Cladosporium species-mediated silver nanoparticles were characterized by UV-Vis spectrophotometer, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), X-ray diffraction (XRD) and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX). The aqueous extract of Cladosporium species has shown the presence of carbohydrates, tannin, phenolic glycosides, terpenoids, alkaloids, phenol and anthraquinones.

A prescreening procedure to search for hemolytic activity among the isolated strains allowed us to detect good fungitoxic activity in a bacterial isolate that we named UM96. This bacterial isolate showed strong growth inhibition in bioassays against the pathogens Diaporthe phaseolorum, Colletotrichum acutatum, Rhizoctonia solani, and Fusarium oxysporum.
