Objective: To assess the association between the combination of corporal adiposity (CA) and cardiorespiratory physical fitness (CRF) with cardiometabolic risk factors in children aged 7-10 years.

Methods: Cross-sectional observational study with a sample of 251 children registered in Family Health Units. Sociodemographic, lifestyle, anthropometric, biochemical, blood pressure, and CRF data were collected.

Interferon-γ (IFN-γ) is a key mediator in antitumor immunity and immunotherapy responses, yet its clinical application remains restricted to chronic granulomatous disease and malignant osteopetrosis. IFN-γ effectiveness as a standalone treatment has shown limited success in clinical trials and its potential for synergistic effects when combined with immunotherapies is under clinical exploration. Effect of listening to music on anxiety, pain, and cardiorespiratory parameters in cardiac surgery: A randomized clinical trial.

Purpose: To evaluate the effect of listening to music on preoperative anxiety, postoperative pain (at rest and during coughing), and cardiorespiratory parameters in patients undergoing cardiac surgery.

Design: Single-centered, randomized, parallel, superiority clinical trial.

Methods: This study was carried out with 50 adult patients undergoing elective cardiac surgery randomly allocated at a 1:1 ratio to one of the groups, experimental (n = 25) or control (n = 25).
