Background: COVID-19 infection during pregnancy could be associated with placental histopathological changes such as vascular diseases and malperfusion. There are studies showing that mRNA vaccines are not associated with significant placental pathological changes. Our objective was to evaluate the placental histopathology in pregnant women who received Sinopharm, an inactivated virus vaccine, during pregnancy.

A rare spontaneous triplet heterotopic pregnancy occurred in a patient using emergency contraception. This highlights the need to consider heterotopic pregnancy in differential diagnoses for patients presenting with abdominal pain or vaginal bleeding, even with detected intrauterine pregnancies, especially after failed emergency contraception, necessitating thorough laboratory and ultrasonographic diagnostic work-up.

First molecular detection of bovine gammaherpesvirus type 4 in dairy cows of Iran and its possible role in endometritis.

A remarkable percentage of cows in industrialized dairy farms can be affected by uterine diseases including endometritis. Different viral and bacterial agents are causing endometritis in dairy cows including Trueperella pyogenes, and bovine alphaherpesvirus 1. Also, bovine gammaherpesvirus type 4 (BoGHV-4) is responsible for different reproductive disorders.
