This paper reports on the potential for water reuse in the malting sector. Core unit of a treatment train to close the water loop was a membrane bioreactor (MBR). Three different commercial submerged membranes were compared in terms of their fouling potential in this application.

View Article and Find Full Text PDFThe antirheumatic effect of a new nonsteroidal antiinflammatory drug, irritren, a derivative of arylacetic acid namely ionazolac calcium was studied. The favourable effect of irritren treatment in reactivated arthrosis was compared to that of indomethacin. To this end 40 patients were divided into two groups of 20 patients each who were treated for 14 days with: irritren in daily doses of 3 X 200 mg-Group I, and with indomethacin in daily doses of 3 X 25 mg-group II.
