The history continues: From (Fellodistomidae) to (Baccigeridae) genetic evidence reveals a new genus of Cryptogonimidae.

Suriano & Martorelli, 1983 (Fellodistomidae) was described from the flounder Later, it was redescribed, based on new material from the same host and type locality, and reconsidered as (Baccigeridae). The main difference noted in the redescription was the presence of spines on the body. However, the lack of DNA data made confirming the true affiliation of this digenean challenging.

Three-Year Effectiveness of Bictegravir/Emtricitabine/Tenofovir Alafenamide as a Switch Strategy in the Real World.

Background: We previously described the effectiveness of bictegravir/emtricitabine/tenofovir alafenamide (B/F/TAF) as a switch strategy in real life in people with HIV (PWH) at 48 weeks. We did not find that previous nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor (NRTI) resistance-associated mutations (RAMs) had an impact on efficacy. Herein we report response rates after 3 years of follow-up.

Impact of self-reported cannabis use on veterans' intensive PTSD treatment outcomes.

Objective: The impact of cannabis use on evidence-based posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) treatment outcomes remains inconclusive. Further, few studies to date have examined these relationships in intensive PTSD treatment settings, with existing literature being similarly inconclusive. The present study assessed the role of cannabis use frequency prior to and concurrent with treatment on self-reported PTSD and depressive symptoms in two samples of veterans undergoing distinct (3-week and 2-week) Cognitive Processing Therapy-based intensive treatment programs (ITPs; = 488; = 253).

Antimicrobial resistance and epidemiological aspects of Neisseria gonorrhoeae in the province of Lleida, Spain (2017-2024).

Introduction: Neisseria gonorrhoeae (NG) is one of the main causes of sexually transmitted infections and it is reaching high resistance levels worldwide. The aim of this study was to describe the antibiotic resistance, incidence and circulating sequence types of NG in the province of Lleida (Spain).

Methods: A total of 487 NG isolates were included in the study (2017-2024).
