Aim And Background: The term "spin" in biomedical journals refers to reporting strategies that misinterpret actual results and mislead readers toward viewing a drug or treatment in a more favorable or less favorable manner. The study aimed to evaluate the presence of spin in abstracts of randomized controlled trials (RCTs) published in PubMed-indexed pediatric dentistry journals.
Methods: The study was conducted in the Department of Dentistry at a tertiary care hospital from April to June 2023.

Background: Food protein-induced allergic proctocolitis (FPIAP) is the leading cause of rectal bleeding in infants. Tolerance is presumed to develop until the first year of age, although natural history studies are scarce, making the determination of the ideal duration for any intervention, challenging. Intestinal microbiota (IM) is crucial in food allergy development; however, data for FPIAP remain limited.

A number of neoplastic lesions either benign or malignant can present as radiolucent, radiopaque, or mixed in jaws and if present near the root apices can be misdiagnosed as odontogenic infection/etiology. The present case report describes a rare case of two elongated radiopaque structures within periapical pathology located beneath the apices of mandibular central incisors in a 26-year-old male.

The outcome of endodontic treatment depends on a thorough knowledge of dental anatomy and its variations. Maxillary central incisor with two roots is a rare entity, so a complete clinical and radiological examination is important before initiating the treatment.
