Neutron-gamma pulse shape discrimination for organic scintillation detector using 2D CNN based image classification.

This study shows an implementation of neutron-gamma pulse shape discrimination (PSD) using a two-dimensional convolutional neural network. The inputs to the network are snapshots of the unprocessed, digitized signals from a BC501A detector. By exposing a BC501A detector to a Cf-252 source, neutron and gamma signals were collected to create a training dataset.

To describe a case of frosted branch angiitis-like retinal vasculitis that developed after scleral buckle surgery. A single case was evaluated. Five days after nondrainage scleral buckle surgery with a segmental buckle and encircling band, an otherwise healthy 39-year-old man presented with frosted branch angiitis.

In our investigation, we discovered that cocaine not only upregulates the expression of the DNA-dependent protein kinase (DNA-PK) but also augments DNA-PK activation by enhancing its phosphorylation at S2056. Moreover, DNA-PK phosphorylation triggers the higher localization of the DNA-PK into the nucleus.

Clinical and Multimodal Imaging Study to Differentiate Amelanotic Choroidal Lesions.

Introduction: The aim of this study was to differentiate amelanotic choroidal lesions - amelanotic choroidal melanoma, choroidal metastasis, and choroidal granuloma using multimodal imaging.
