Games and analogies can significantly enrich the learning experience when integrated with traditional expository teaching methods. With this aim, we developed The Mystery of the Cell Kingdom, an online game designed to enhance understanding of the physiology of thyroid hormones through a medieval analogy. In the game, students are challenged to apply their knowledge of endocrine physiology to solve a series of relevant questions on the topic.

Introduction: Neuropsychiatric symptoms are highly prevalent in Parkinson's disease (PD) and significantly affect the quality of life of patients and their significant others. The aim of this work is to describe typical neuropsychiatric symptoms and their treatment.
Methods: This is a narrative opinion paper, illustrated by a fictional case report.
Objective: to verify the effect of educational technologies on the quality of life of people with diabetes.
Method: quasi-experimental study, before-and-after type, developed with a group of 34 people. Six interventions were carried out, in groups or individually, using educational technologies, such as clinical simulators and physical educational games.
Objectives: to assess sleep quality of patients with heart failure and associated sociodemographic and clinical characteristics.
Methods: a cross-sectional study, developed with 88 patients. Sleep quality was assessed by the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index.
Background/objectives: Absenteeism refers to the frequent, often unplanned, absence from the workplace. This study examines the interrelations among job satisfaction, quality of life (QoL), and absenteeism among formal caregivers for elderly individuals. With the significant demographic shift toward an aging population, understanding these dynamics is increasingly important.
