Over 32,000 mpox cases were identified in the United States (US) within one year of the start of the global outbreak in 2022. Research on how the mpox outbreak affected individuals' lives is limited. We analyzed qualitative and quantitative cross-sectional survey data collected from 60 participants in August 2022 to (1) describe mpox-related psychosocial and behavioral impacts among adults in the US and (2) explore differences in mpox-related impacts by HIV status.

Introduction: The medial patellofemoral ligament (MPFL) is the main patellar stabilizer in low knee flexion degrees (0-30°). Isolated MPFL reconstruction (MPFLr) is therefore considered the gold standard of surgical procedures for low flexion patellofemoral instabilities (PFIs). A spatiotemporal style transfer algorithm for dynamic visual stimulus generation.

Understanding how visual information is encoded in biological and artificial systems often requires the generation of appropriate stimuli to test specific hypotheses, but available methods for video generation are scarce. Here we introduce the spatiotemporal style transfer (STST) algorithm, a dynamic visual stimulus generation framework that allows the manipulation and synthesis of video stimuli for vision research. We show how stimuli can be generated that match the low-level spatiotemporal features of their natural counterparts, but lack their high-level semantic features, providing a useful tool to study object recognition.
