Since the emergence of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), the need for an effective vaccine has appeared crucial for stimulating immune system responses to produce humoral/cellular immunity and activate immunological memory. It has been demonstrated that SARS-CoV-2 variants escape neutralizing immunity elicited by previous infection and/or vaccination, leading to new infection waves and cases of reinfection. The study aims to gain into cases of reinfections, particularly infections and/or vaccination-induced protection.

The face of Non-photosensitive trichothiodystrophy phenotypic spectrum: A subsequent study on paediatric population.

Background: Non-photosensitive trichothiodystrophies (TTDs) are a diverse group of genodermatoses within the subset of conditions known as "sulphur-deficient brittle hair" syndromes. A part of them has only recently been identified, revealing novel causative genes and very rare phenotypes of these genetic skin disorders. At the same time, the molecular basis of previously published and unresolved cases has been revealed through the introduction of innovative genetic techniques.

Pharmacy preceptors are pivotal to facilitating and maximizing student learning on experiential rotations. However, preceptors may encounter a variety of behaviors or barriers that can hinder student success. Although some guidance exists for preceptors, emerging learner challenges along with new educational outcomes call for an updated practical approach to promoting student success on rotations.

Donor-Site Complication of Severe Valgus Ankle Deformity in an Adult With Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome Following Free Vascularized Fibular Grafting.

Valgus deformity of the ankle joint is a well-known and relatively common donor-site complication of free vascularized fibular graft harvest in children. Due to children having naturally greater ligamentous laxity than adults, the tibiofibular syndesmosis can be compromised with the loss of the fibular shaft, leading to valgus ankle deformity (VAD). Syndesmotic stabilization with screws is commonly recommended in subsets of pediatric patients at the greatest risk of this complication.
