Incidence and Outcomes of Infectious Keratitis After Corneal Collagen Cross-Linking Over 10 years From a Tertiary Care Center in South India.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to report the incidence and outcomes of infectious keratitis after corneal collagen cross-linking (CXL) over 10 years in South India.

Methods: Patients who underwent CXL for progressive keratoconus between January 2011 and December 2020 and those with infectious keratitis were identified from an electronic database system. The clinical and microbiological profiles of those affected were extracted from the case files and included in the analysis, whereas viral keratitis was excluded.

Experimental analysis of enhanced finite set model predictive control and direct torque control in SRM drives for torque ripple reduction.

The magnet-less switched reluctance motor (SRM) speed-torque characteristics are ideally suited for traction motor drive characteristics and its advantage to minimize the overall cost of on-road EVs. The main drawbacks are torque and flux ripple, which have produced high in low-speed operation. However, the emerging direct torque control (DTC) operated magnitude flux and torque estimation with voltage vectors (VVs) gives high torque ripples due to the selection of effective switching states and sector partition accuracy.

Insight into the negative magnetization and anomalous exchange-bias in DyFe5Al7 through neutron depolarization and neutron diffraction studies.

We have provided the mesoscopic and microscopic understandings of polarity reversal of the magnetization or negative magnetization (NM) below TCOMP = 93 K in an exotic magnetic material containing three magnetic sublattices, viz., DyFe5Al7 crystallizing in ThMn12 structure, using neutron depolarization and neutron diffraction techniques. A full recovery of the neutron beam polarization at the TCOMP in a neutron depolarization experiment reveals a total compensation of magnetization inside the magnetic domains in the sample.

Clozapine Induced Hypertension and its Association with Autonomic Dysfunction.

Clozapine is a second generation antipsychotic agent which is drug of choice for treatment resistant schizophrenia. Tachycardia and postural hypotension are most frequently observed cardiovascular adverse effects, but reports on new-onset persistently elevated blood pressure are sparse. Mechanisms underlying clozapine induced hypertension also remain unclear.
