Aim: The aim of the article is to summarize observations on cytomegalovirus (CMV) anterior uveitis, and in short case reports present cases of patients treated at our Department of Ophthalmology, First Faculty of Medicine, Charles University and General University Hospital in Prague.
Material And Methods: Retrospective analysis of patients at the Centre for diagnosis and treatment of uveitis from 2003 to 2024. Presentation of our experiences with CMV anterior uveitis confirmed by polymerase chain reaction (PCR) in aqueous humor in case reports.

- Conducted as a six-month randomized study, participants over 18 years with uncontrolled intraocular pressure were assigned to either NET/LAT or BIM/TIM, with efficacy and safety monitored over the period.
- Results showed that NET/LAT was non-inferior to BIM/TIM, maintaining a similar intraocular pressure at various time points, with both treatments demonstrating comparable safety profiles.
Four members of a three-generation Czech family with early-onset chorioretinal dystrophy were shown to be heterozygous carriers of the n.37C>T in MIR204. The identification of this previously reported pathogenic variant confirms the existence of a distinct clinical entity caused by a sequence change in MIR204.

Secondary uveitic glaucoma is a serious sight-threatening complication of intraocular inflammation (uveitis). It develops in approximately 10-20% of patients with uveitis (although this figure may be higher depending on the type of inflammation). It is more commonly associated with chronic forms of uveitis, especially anterior uveitis.

The aim of this study was to characterize and describe the clinical findings in two Czech families with POAG due to pathogenic variants in the MYOC gene.
Material And Methods: Members of the two families affected by POAG underwent complete ophthalmological examination.
