Due to the increase in data rate in mobile communication and the widespread use of mobile internet, electromagnetic communication systems are increasing daily. This situation causes increases in the use of more mobile communication devices and environmental non-ionizing Electromagnetic Field (EMF) levels. The rise of bee deaths and colony losses in beekeeping parallel to the increase of the EMF sources cause the concept of "electromagnetic pollution" to be considered among the reasons.

Amphiphilic particles have been shown to spontaneously capture aqueous droplets within their cavities upon mixing with an immiscible oil phase, where each particle templates a single droplet. Here, an amphiphilic microparticle with four discrete hydrophilic patches embedded at the inner corners of a square-shaped hydrophobic outer ring of the particle (4C particle) is fabricated.

We aimed to predict the development of severe respiratory failure, defined as the need for high-flow oxygen support, continuous positive airway pressure, or mechanical ventilation, in patients with COVID-19, using machine learning algorithms to identify the most important variables in achieving this prediction. This retrospective, cross-sectional study included COVID-19 patients with mild respiratory failure (mostly receiving oxygen through a mask or nasal cannula).

Patients And Methods: Between May 2019 and December 2019, a total of 54 patients (34 males, 20 females; median age: 68.5 years; range, 50 to 87 years) were included in the study.
Introduction: The objective of this cross-sectional study was to evaluate the monocyte to albumin ratio (MAR), neutrophil to albumin ratio (NAR), platelet to albumin ratio (PAR), and C-reactive protein to albumin ratio (CAR) as potential biomarkers for disease activity in patients with Behçet's disease (BD).
Material And Methods: Both BD cases and healthy controls were enrolled in this study. Demographic characteristics, disease duration, and current medications were recorded for all participants.
