Background: The Spinal Instability Neoplastic Score (SINS) is used in determining instability in patients with spinal metastases. Intermediate scores of 7 to 12 suggest possible instability, but there are no clear guidelines to address patients with these scores.
Methods: We searched in PubMed, EMBASE, and Cochrane databases for studies that included patient demographics, tumor histology, surgical or radiotherapy management, and outcomes of patients with intermediate SINS.
Objective: To determine the risk factors for subsequent intraocular lens (IOL) surgery among eyes undergoing either combined or sequential phaco-vitrectomy.
Design: Retrospective cohort study.
Participants: Adult patients undergoing phacoemulsification at 8 United Kingdom National Health Service clinical centers between July 2003 and March 2015.
Local magnitude (M) scales have been developed for Egypt based on 14,453 normalized Wood-Anderson amplitudes from 1670 earthquakes. These events were recorded by at least four seismic stations, with hypocentral depths of less than 40 km and earthquake magnitudes ranging from 0.1 to 6.
