Objectives: Head and neck adenosquamous cell carcinoma (HN-ASCC) is a rare, aggressive neoplasm, with limited data reported in the literature. The aim of this study was to assess tumour behaviour and prognostic factors impacting overall survival (OS) in a retrospective, single institution series.
Methods: A retrospective study on patients affected by HN-ASCC who were treated surgically between 2002 and 2019 at the Department of Otorhinolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery of the University of Brescia was conducted.
Purpose: To analyze the learning curve regarding complication rates of transrectal prostate biopsy (TRPB) versus transperineal prostate biopsy (TPPB), using real time software-based magnetic resonance imaging ultrasound (MRI-US) fusion techniques, along with first year experience of transperineal approach.
Materials And Methods: retrospective unicentric cohort study at a quaternary care hospital. Medical records of all consecutive patients that underwent TPPB between March 2021 and February 2022, after the introduction of MRI-US fusion device, and those who underwent TRPB throughout the entire years of 2019 and 2020 were analyzed.
Introduction: Vaccination with Vi capsular polysaccharide (Vi-PS) or protein-Vi typhoid conjugate vaccine (TCV) can protect adults against Typhi infections. TCVs offer better protection than Vi-PS in infants and may offer better protection in adults. Potential reasons for why TCV may be superior in adults are not fully understood.

We apply difference-in-difference regressions and propensity-score matching estimators to a sample of approximately 40,000 SMEs over the 2010-2018 period.
