Chemotherapies remain standard therapy for cancers but have limited efficacy and cause significant side effects, highlighting the need for targeted approaches. In the progression of cancer, tumors increase matrix metalloproteinase (MMP) activity. Leveraging and therapeutically redirecting tumor MMPs through activatable cell-penetrating peptide (ACPP) technology offers new approaches for tumor-selective drug delivery and for studying how drug payloads engage the tumor immune microenvironment.

Safe and affordable tests have led to the active implementation of therapeutic drug monitoring (TDM) in clinical practice, which, although not yet widely available across all health services, has been proven effective.
Objective: To analyze serum infliximab (IFX) and antidrug antibody (ADA) levels in CD patients, compare two tests, as well as construct a prediction of neural network using a combination of clinical, epidemiological, and laboratory variables.
Objective: The objective of this study was to describe the process of cross-cultural adaptation of the Breastfeeding Self-Efficacy Scale-Short Form among Fathers for use in Brazil.
Methods: This is a cross-cultural adaptation study that began with the translation from the original English into Portuguese, followed by back translation. A committee of experts evaluated the semantic, idiomatic, experiential, and conceptual equivalences.
During 2014-2022, only Plasmodium falciparum malaria cases were reported in the Comoro Islands. We report a fatal case of mixed Plasmodium malaria infection in a traveler returning from the Comoros to Colombia in 2024, highlighting the need to strengthen laboratory detection and identification of Plasmodium spp. in sub-Saharan Africa.

One of the principal problems faced by urban populations of capuchin monkeys is their contact with household refuse, which may provoke a number of impacts on the health of these animals. The present study tested the use of feeding platforms as a strategy to reduce the consumption of unhealthy foodstuffs by these animals and analyzed the influence of this measure on the activity patterns and social interactions of the study groups.
