Subacute, painful weakness is a common problem encountered by neurologists and can be associated with systemic symptoms. The patient presented with 6 weeks of progressive neuropathic pain followed by sensory changes and distal-predominant weakness. This case reviews the broad differential for such a presentation and a comprehensive, stepwise approach to diagnosis.

We evaluate a clinical-electrophysiological model to facilitate CIDP versus mimic neuropathy prediction.
Methods: Using the European Academy of Neurology/Peripheral Nerve Society (EAN/PNS) 2021 CIDP guidelines we derived 26 clinical and 144 nerve conduction variables.
pv. is the main causal agent of bacterial canker in sweet cherry in Chile, causing significant economic losses. Cultivars exhibit diverse susceptibility in the field and the molecular mechanisms underlying the differential responses remain unclear.

This case report discusses a 41-year-old male with a history of migraine with visual aura, presenting with sudden left-eye visual loss. Comprehensive ophthalmologic examination revealed a central scotoma, while multimodal imaging, including spectral-domain optical coherence tomography (SD-OCT), showed focal alterations in the outer plexiform layer.

Prior studies have documented positive associations between unmet parenting expectations and adverse maternal psychological outcomes, including post-NICU discharge. However, no studies have yet explored how unmet parenting expectations may be associated with maternal NICU-related PTSD symptoms.
