Background And Objectives: This study evaluates the prognostic value of venous tumor thrombus (VTT) in patients with advanced renal cell carcinoma (RCC) undergoing radical resection and inferior vena cava (IVC) thrombectomy.

Methods: Retrospective review of patients with radical nephrectomy for RCC and associated VTT (2000-2024). Patients were dichotomized into Neves 0-II (infrahepatic) and Neves III-IV groups (suprahepatic) IVC involvement for univariate analysis.

One of the outstanding optoelectronic devices is perovskite-based light emitting diodes (PeLEDs) that have diverse applications according to the wavelength of produced light. However, these devices have shown more than 20% External Quantum Efficiency (EQE), in comparison with their counterparts (OLEDs), light extraction is limited in these devices. In this paper, by optimizing the thickness of layers and manipulating absorption in the active layer (AL), the light extraction efficiency (LEE) increased by nearly 20%.

In this study, the influence of pomegranate peel extract (PPE) and pomegranate concentrate (PC) on improving the oxidative stability of cream powder in comparison with synthetic antioxidant (Butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT)) during the storage period at 20°C (8 weeks) and 45°C (4 weeks) was evaluated. The finding exhibited that peroxide, -anisidine, and total oxidation (TOTOX) values increased during the storage period. Samples containing PPE and PC showed suitable performance in controlling the cream powder oxidation.
