Introduction: Promoting healthy ageing is a global priority. Active Participation Centres are potentially key in fostering psychosocial and emotional health, contributing to a fulfilling and active lifestyle for older adults.
Aims: The study explores self-perceived health, perceptions of sociocultural participation, emotions that emerged when sociocultural participation, and preferences among older adults engaged in community socio-cultural activities from an Active Participation Centre.
An elderly female patient with a long-standing history of Kaposi's sarcoma of the lower limbs was referred to the Surgical Department after the subsequential failure of multiple lines of systemic chemotherapy. The patient was also complaining of increasing symptoms including intractable pruritus, which negatively impacted her quality of life. She underwent palliative electrochemotherapy with bleomycin (15 g/m 2 ) on the sarcomatous lesions of the left foot and ankle, which lead to complete clinical response and resolution of symptoms; no adverse events were reported.

Detailed knowledge of the reproductive particularities and reproductive behavior of the species is essential for increasing the efficiency of the breeding technology. This study aimed to identify the affinity shown by females regarding the size of the oviposition slots (1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 mm), the vertical distribution of the ovipositing rate, and the influence of the substrate’s moisture on ovipositing behavior (dry matter/water: 1:0.

The dual function of phenol (PhOH) included in the coordination sphere of the nickel complex as an antioxidant or catalyst depends on the ligand environment of the metal. The role of intermolecular H-bonds and supramolecular structures (AFM method) in the mechanisms of selective catalysis by nickel complexes in chemical and biological oxidation reactions is analyzed.
